Physical Features

Valeria considers her appearance fairly ordinary, but she does take pride in her cerulean eyes (courtesy of her father). She sincerely believes that, quoting Shakespeare, “the eyes are the window to [the] soul”. Because she is often misunderstood, Valeria silently hopes that people will be able to recognize her true intentions and goodness by looking into her eyes, and she tries to reciprocate the action. However, people are either too afraid (because of her family’s reputation) to look into those exquisite cerulean pools or, if they dare catch a glimpse, find themselves too mesmerized to discern what story lies behind her eyes.

Either way, Valeria is quite fond of her eyes, as they are first and foremost unique to herself and a defining trait of her family.
