Floo powder is inaccurate at times, and portkeys are inefficient; apparition would be her preferred choice, but seeing as she is underage, Valeria opts for the popular broomstick. When flying on a broomstick, she feels as if she is truly in control of her own life for once. Due to her love of flying, Valeria hopes that one day she will be brave and talented enough to tackle Quidditch.
